The GD20  Jam is a non-ranked game jam, where entrants are invited to contribute  settings for GD20.  GD20 is a genre neutral rules-lite table talk roleplaying game that runs on a single d20. It is designed to handle a variety of different genres and settings, with quick setup and little bookkeeping. GD20 assumes that the player is already familiar with TTRPGs, but the rules are reasonably straightforward and should be easy to explain, even to absolute beginners.

Jam Rules

1. Submissions must be a fully playable setting for GD20 .
2. Submissions must be made during the jam period specifically for the jam.
3. Multiple submissions are encouraged!
4. Settings can be released as free, PWYW, or with a price tag. If you're charging for the game, please send me a copy so I can review for content which breaks the rules. Consider adding community copies.
5. Label explicit or graphic content. Consider using or referencing safety tools, such as the X card.
6. No nazis, terfs, bigots, etc. Go rot in a corner somewhere else. If you have to ask, it probably includes you.
   
7. GD20 is licensed as CCLA 1.0, your work should be as well!

Format

Your work should be at least in unlocked pdf format, but you may add other format (odt, doc, txt, markdown, etc) at your discretion. The entry must be  in a easily printable size (typically A4 or Letter). If your design is not printer-friendly, consider to include also a ink-light version.

Credits

Your work must be original and must have a title and an author (or authors, as you can partecipate as a team). If you use other CC materials, be careful to include the correct attribution to the author(s).

License

All entries must be shared and licensed under the Creative Comrades License Agreement (CCLA 1.0) or Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-SA 4.0). 

Each submission must not include the intellectual property (IP) or violate the copyright or trademarks of others.

Submissions should include a statement declaring their compatibility with, or design for, the GD20  rules system.

Be careful to use royalty free fonts or fonts that you have permission to use.

Deadline

Your work must be submitted by December 31st, 2023.
